Who you are dealing with

vitella.net is the official website of Vitella, a designer and manufacturer of orthopaedic supports based in China. It presents our product range and provides a free service for checking whether an authenticity code was issued by us. We do not sell directly from this site; purchases are made through authorised distributors.

The verification service

The verification service reports whether a given code exists in our register, and how many times it has been checked. It is provided in good faith and free of charge.

What a positive result means. A result of “authentic” confirms that the code you entered was issued by Vitella. It cannot, on its own, confirm that the physical item in your possession is the item that code was applied to — a copied label will still return a real code. We explain this limitation openly on the verification page. A verification result is therefore evidence, not a guarantee, and should be read alongside where you bought the product and the condition of its packaging.

Availability. We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Where we cannot reach our register, the service will tell you so rather than return a result.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit codes in bulk, automate requests, or otherwise probe the service to enumerate valid codes.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, derive or forge authenticity codes, or the keys used to sign them.
• Interfere with the operation of the site, or attempt to access any part of it that is not publicly available.
• Reproduce Vitella branding, product photography or authenticity labels without written permission.

Product information

Product descriptions on this site explain what our products are made of and what they physically do. They are not medical advice and do not constitute a claim to treat, cure or correct any condition. Please read our intended use guidance before using any Vitella product.

Purchases, returns and warranty

Because you buy from a distributor rather than from us, your contract of sale — including price, delivery, returns and refunds — is with that distributor, under the consumer law of your own country. Their terms apply to the purchase.

That does not remove our responsibility for the product itself. If aVitella product reaches you with a manufacturing defect, contact your distributor first; if that does not resolve it, contact us at info@vitella.net and we will deal with it directly.

Intellectual property

The Vitella name, wordmark, product designs, photography and site content belong to Vitella and may not be used without permission.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any statutory consumer rights you have that cannot be waived.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of this site or the verification service, and our total liability in connection with the site is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, and the courts of the People's Republic of China have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live, nor of your right to bring proceedings there where local law gives you that right.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
